Some people might call me arrogant and those peopl

Some people might call me arrogant and those people might be right. It is not that I think I am better than others people it is that I know that I am the best at being me. And the older I get, the more I love the rock star woman that I am. And I do not shrink away from that.

I often have clients ask me, Jackie, how can I be like you? And I respond that you can't. I'm an original, but the beautiful thing is SO ARE YOU! There is no one on this planet that can do you better than you. But you have to own your greatness. Do not shrink away from it. Step into it. Follow it. See where it leads you. Change your mind a time or too. Leave fear. Abandon the idea of failure and most importantly live in light and love.

Trust your body. Trust your intuition. Trust your ancestors who surround you in love.

Good things shouldn't be hard. You were not put on this Earth to suffer. You were put here to thrive and no matter your circumstance at this moment, you are in control. You have all the power. Use it.

Do not believe the social media hype unless it is telling you that you are magical and your life should be too!

There is a lot of research that says that social media can have a negative image on people's emotional health, but I look at my media feeds and they excite and motivate me.

Why?

'Cause just like everything else in life, I'm choosey about what and who I follow. I don't follow accounts that tell me that this body that birthed 2 healthy babies is anything less than perfect. I don't listen to voices that tell me that if I sacrifice my sleep for more work that I will be happier. Get your rest, sis!

Success ain't all about sacrifice. You woke up this AM. You have a million reasons to be grateful. You have a million reasons to smile. Focus on those things.

If you are entering in December worrying about creating the perfect holidays, let that shit go sis.

Perfection is what you create it to be.

Go in love and in light, beautiful.

Happy New Month and Happy end of the Year O. Squad. I have been off of social media for a few weeks and I make no apologies for that. I was out living life, but I'm back now and I missed ya'll.

People often ask me how I stay upbeat, especially with everything going on in the world. And my response is typically always the same - joy for me is a lifestyle. It is a verb. I make a million choices each and every day that decide to choose my joy and happiness over everything.

Why?

Because, I'm a better person, a better mother, better friend, better partner when I prioritize myself. More Black women need to see themselves as the center of their universe.

Mothers often say that they would die for their children, but would you live for them - truly live for them.

I'm a single mom. I'm all my daughter has, so I have got to take care of myself emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially.
